Goal of the Conference: to attract the attention of students in the “Foreign Regional Studies: Euro-Asian and Mediterranean Regions” program at the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) of RUDN, as well as students from Russian and foreign universities in related fields, to discuss a wide range of socio-political, economic, and cultural issues concerning the contemporary development of the studied region. The conference seeks to promote discussion and cooperation with relevant partners, as well as to strive for improving the quality of life in their countries to shape the socio-political discourse on international issues.

Another goal of the conference is to test analytical research in the field of international relations, security, and political and economic policy at the national and foreign policy levels of the countries of Greater Europe, Asia, and the Mediterranean.

List of Main Issues to Be Discussed:

  1. New challenges facing the countries of Greater Europe.
  2. Political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of contemporary regional processes in the Euro-Asian and Mediterranean regions.
  3. Euro-Asian cooperation and partnership: participants, projects, prospects.
  4. Issues of national, regional, and global security and international stability.
  5. Global issues of our time and their impact on international relations.

  2. Publication:

Following the conference, a collection of articles is planned for publication in English and Russian by RUDN Publishing House. The collection will be indexed in the RSCI database.

Those articles, which submitted after the deadline and don’t correspond to the requirements, are not allowed to publishing!

Articles and anti-plagiarism verification (at least 75%) should be attached to the registration form till  November 9, 2025 (including that date).
